Welcome to Inland Country Doula! My name is Joanna. I am a certified birth doula and photographer in Eastern Washington just north of Spokane. I offer my services to families in Spokane, North Idaho and the surrounding area.

WHAT IS A BIRTH DOULA?
A birth doula is someone who provides physical, emotional and informational support to families throughout pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.

ABOUT ME

One of my greatest joys in life is working with women from diverse backgrounds and empowering them to create a birth experience they will cherish.

I first fell in love with birth work when I gave birth to my son John in 2016. At that time, a precious friend of mine came along side me and served as my doula. That experience became one of the most empowering experiences in my life and I knew in that moment I wanted to serve other families in the same way that she did for me.
